As an outright Souls-like, Lords of the Fallen from developer Hexworks has all the chops to take on FromSoftware literally at its own game(s). And today's gameplay reveal trailer which also comes neatly packaged with a release date showcases just what fans have been so eagerly anticipating. Oh, and it has Iron Maiden in it too.

Featuring fast, challenging combat and colossal boss battles, players will travel across the parallel worlds of the living and the dead in their quest to overthrow Adyr, the demon God.

As with the trailer above, the game is due to release on October 13 (which happens to be a Friday) for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S -- pre-orders are available now and feature in the below configurations:
