Mouse is a new first-person shooter that channels the spirit of cartoons from the 1920s, ala Cuphead and its black-and-white visuals and presentation look impressive in motion. A mix of old-timey animation and modern 3D visuals, Mouse is something we didn't know we needed - and we now can't wait to see more.

Mouse comes from indie studio Fumi Games, and in it, you take on the role of private detective John Mouston as you battle crooks and thugs and no-good gangsters. No release date or window has been set, and as the following trailer features some basic 3D environments - we'd probably guess it's not anytime soon.

But be warned: the city is full of danger and betrayal. To survive, you'll need to stay sharp and keep your wits about you. With every step you take, you'll uncover more of the story and find yourself caught up in a web of deceit and murder.
