Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will feature an online multiplayer Zombies Mode with its downloadable content season pass, according to a new trailer from publisher Activision.
Originally a leaked Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare trailer teased the Zombies Mode by showing soldiers fleeing from infected humans and a character saying "Soldier, look at me! Are you bit?" Soon after the leak Activision quickly put out their own official trailer, which you can see below.
The Advanced Warfare season pass includes four multiplayer content packs - Havoc, Ascendance, Supremacy and Reckoning - and early access to bonus DLC weapons for $56.95. It is not yet clear which pack includes the Zombies Mode. One multiplayer map featured in the content packs features a towering railgun that players can control and lay waste to everything on the map.
The season pass also offers access to a bonus multiplayer map, a remake of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare’s Pipeline map called “Atlas George,” at launch. The content packs begin with Havoc DLC when it launches on Xbox One sometime in January and will roll out to other platforms on an unannounced date.

Dodgy, ripping game modes out of the game that have been pretty stock standard and selling them as DLC.
Was thinking about getting this COD cos it looked pretty cool, but this has pretty much turned me off, cos the co-op mutiplayer was the only multiplayer I probably would have bothered with.

Agreed! Had I known about this, I wouldn't have even considered getting it. However, I'd heard the port is great and I needed a new casual shooter so the whole 40-something gig just finished downloading...
Yes. over 40GB of data to download it...
Apparently NEXT GEN! means that it has to take up at least 90% of a blue-ray disk and compression isn't allowed!
So can someone give a definitive answer on the dedicated server thing? Cos it sounds like a crock of s*** at the moment, sounds like they've just invented their own definition of "dedicated servers" and delivered that, because it sure doesn't sound like the same thing other people mean when they ask for dedicated servers.

I haven't had a single game with a dedicated server. There is no server browser either.
The only games I've had are peer-2-peer. Sorry, seems they lied to your face (along with mine and everyone else's).
