One of the bigger announcements to come from Nintendo's digital presentation event today was the reveal of a new platformer game staring Mario's dinosaur pal Yoshi.
Yoshi's Woolly World is being created by the appropriately named Japanese studio Good-feel Company who brought us Kirby's Epic Yarn and as the new game's name might suggest, this one is also textile themed.
Embark on a new Yoshi adventure in a world made from yarn, cloth and textiles. Explore the world by using yarn to weave wool platforms and warp pipes to reach new areas, and gleefully unravel its secrets and puzzles by pulling yarn walls apart. Add a little color to Yoshi’s life with a spectrum of yarn balls. Then team up with a friend to have a ball together in this wild and woolly world.
Yoshi's Woolly World is due in "first half of 2015" on the Nintendo Wii U.
I personally think this is where Nintendo excels by focusing on their games instead of porting games that are on PS4 and Xbone, Mario Kart 8 is amazing, all the Mario games to date are amazing and what's to come is awesome!
Yeah, I assumed that's what you meant. Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony don't port third-party games to their consoles, the developers of the games do it themselves. Watch_Dogs is on PS4 and XBone because Ubisoft, the developer, ported it to those consoles, as they are also doing for the Wii U.

Uh, what? Console creators don't port games to their consoles themselves.
