For those that need a refresher, Yooka-Laylee is a fantastic new platformer from ex-Rare developers that's very much a spiritual successor to Banjo Kazooie. Which naturally means that the entire world should mark the April 11, 2017 date down as the time to rekindle their love of classic 3D platforming. The crowdfunded game has a local price-point of AUD $59.95 when it launches for PS4 and Xbox One. Also, developer Playtonic Games has announced that development on the Wii U version has, err, switched to the Nintendo Switch!

Working closely with Nintendo? Awesome news. So we should probably expect pre-orders and an official announcement of the Switch version in January.
