Monolith Soft has revealed during Nintendo's E3 2014 Direct that their science fiction role-playing game Xenoblade Chronicles X — the successor to 2010's Xenoblade Chronicles — will be coming to Wii U in 2015.
Originally announced way back in January 2013 as X, Xenoblade Chronicles X will follow a small group of survivors of an intergalactic war who have chosen to remain on Earth. These individuals are left to fend for themselves in a spectacularly beautiful world, though not without some hostile challenges.
Xenoblade Chronicles X will feature an upgraded combat system of Chronicles, and will also tout a complete open-world setting including some very detailed robot vehicles to boot. Check out the announcement trailer below.
