With the Xbox Games Showcase digital event scheduled to take place on Friday, July 24 at 2am AEST. After May's third-party Xbox Series X showcase many are looking to this event to get a true picture of the next-gen games coming to Xbox. The focus here is expected to be on games coming from Xbox Game Studios and will include the gameplay premiere for Halo Infinite.

Which is all but confirmed to be a launch title for the Xbox Series X.

Elsewhere the only other sure bet is a look at the first next-gen Forza game from Turn 10, and perhaps a glimpse at either the next Fable or Perfect Dark. Both heavily rumoured to be in development. With Xbox Game Studios now including a range of developers, from Ninja Theory to Rare to Obsidian to Double Fine and more - we're hoping that Microsoft go all out in providing a sort of road-map. Looks at games currently in development that might not be out for a few years, in addition to what's on the horizon.

After Sony's impressive PlayStation 5 debut (which admittedly did feature a few third-party reveals that are also Xbox-bound) the digital showcase ball is back in Microsoft's court.
