Okay, so whatever the actual Xbox Scorpio ends up being it absolutely needs to come with this screen. And sure, we agree with you that it is somewhat useless and not all that practical. But a fully programmable front panel that can display all sorts of statistical things like FPS counts and weather forecasts, plus play an animated movie of monochrome dolphins swimming is something that we didn't know we needed.

It's the sort of thing that seems unnecessarily extravagant. Which should be the Scorpio's MO -- after all it can apparently run every current Xbox One game in native 4K.



E3 is only a few weeks away, so we better see this screen in action. And some games too, presumably. But, screen first.
