Microsoft's Xbox One will soon be receiving the first of a two-part system update come February 11th that will mark the console's first major update since launching back in November, and looks to be adding some rather basic features that users noted were missing.

The first patch will finally introduce the much needed storage management, allowing users to see just how much their game's are taking up space-wise. It will also introduce a battery indicator for the controller, and compatibility with USB keyboards, which you can find in the picture below.

Microsoft also noted that the second part of the major update will be hitting consoles come March 4th, conveniently before the worldwide release of mech FPS Titanfall. This additional system update will revamp the console’s party system, alongside "many new features and improvements."

"This post is the first of many announcements and sneak peeks at features in the system updates. We’ve been carefully listening to your feedback and look forward to delivering many new features that will make Xbox One even better. We’re just getting started and can’t wait to share more information in the coming weeks."
