Much of the Xbox One promotional talk trumpets on about the ability to watch your Netflix, Hulu and ESPN content via the upcoming console's interface, which is all well and good unless you're not in North America.

The Xbox One is launching in 13 different countries, and although content licensing restrictions means the other 12 of those won't feature the same breadth of video and music content available as the USA, other countries will be getting a smaller set of their own localised apps on launch window consoles. A recent update from Microsoft confirms what Australian customers will have access to:
Australia
  • Crackle
  • Machinima
  • MUZU TV
  • Network Ten’s tenplay
  • Quickflix
  • SBS On Demand
  • TED
  • Twitch
MS also notes that Xbox Fitness, Xbox Video, Xbox Music, Internet Explorer, Skype, SkyDrive and Upload applications will be available as standard in all territories.
Jeremy Hinton, Interactive Entertainment Business Lead, Microsoft Australia said: “Xbox One is designed to be the centre of the living room experience with gaming, television and entertainment. That’s only possible with great content, and we are thrilled to have such a strong line- up of local and international content available at launch in Australia.”

“All the entertainment apps coming to Xbox One will be integrated into the OneGuide, a personalised experience to view Xbox One content. With the power of Kinect, people will be able to use the improved Kinect sensor to their television experience with the sound of their voice or gesture commands,” said Jeremy.
More details and regional entertainment app availability for other launch countries can be found here.

Completely out of MS hands, this is on Netflixs and our own local TV networks to sort this s*** out....

Netflix isn't that great anyway and has its many downfalls, its better than nothing though.
