Okay, so after Sony's reluctance to budge even an inch when it comes to cross-play or even not locking Epic Games accounts if people try and play Fortnite on the Switch - this new trailer for Minecraft's Better Together version is awesome. There's just something about the combination of Xbox green and Nintendo red that makes us believe that world peace could be possible.
As per the title, Minecraft's Better Together update which launches today, is all about cross-platform Minecraft action. Something that Sony basically said "nope, that's not for us" even though compatibility is as easy as pressing a button. The functionality is there, live on servers.

The above trailer, and the subsequent social media push is a general cross-play statement from both Microsoft and Nintendo. And one that we're glad to see.
