"You’ll get in-depth updates from some of our previously announced Xbox Game Studios titles alongside some of our third-party partners, including some of the incredible titles coming to Xbox this holiday, upcoming releases to our monthly subscription service, Xbox Game Pass, and much more." Gamescom has always been an E3 2.0 style event, and this year Microsoft is set to go big with its livestream scheduled for August 25 at 3:00am AEST.

The 2021 Xbox Stream for Gamescom will be hosted by Parris Lilly and Kate Yeager and will be available to watch via YouTube, Twitter, Twitch, and Facebook Gaming. No doubt we'll get to see more on some of the biggest Xbox Series X and S titles coming this year -- including Forza Horizon 5 and Halo Infinite. Here's hoping we get a campaign deep dive on the latter. And with Game Pass firing on all cylinders we can probably expect a number of big deals on that front too.

With games like Fable, Rare's Everwild, and Perfect Dark being a no show at E3 -- here's hoping there's a big first look on the cards too. The Xbox Stream is set to happen one day before Geoff Keighley's Gamescom: Opening Night Live event on August 26 at 4:00am AEST.
