Xbox Game Pass is expanding the Smart TVs with a native Xbox App set to arrive on Samsung’s 2022 range of Smart TVs. The partnership with Samsung will see a seamless streaming app arrive to allow cloud-enabled games to be played without a console via Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
And it goes live on June 30, where the Xbox app will appear on the Samsung Gaming Hub and Media Hub, with support for Bluetooth controllers. For those without an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription you can still log-in with a Microsoft account and play Fortnite for free - which arrived recently as the first fully free cloud-enabled game for Xbox.
This is great news for those without a gaming PC or console, and access to some high-speed internet. The Cloud Gaming offering on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate features a number of titles, hundreds in fact, including: Aliens: Fireteam Elite, Back 4 Blood, Chorus, DOOM Eternal, Dead Cells, Fallout 4, Forza Horizon 5, Halo Infinite, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, It Takes Two, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Yakuza: Like a Dragon, and more.

With Xbox Cloud Gaming also getting a recent Xbox Series X upgrade, all the big titles will be playable with that next-gen look and feel too. Streaming to a Smart TV. Very cool.
