Yep, that's a first, and unlike the real thing (being pro-wrestling), it's not fake. Wait, what?!
Anyway, 2K Sports today announced that WWE 2K18 is currently in development for PC (finally) and would be available on the same day as 'versions' of the PS4 and Xbox One release, meaning some of the pre-order early access stuff is still out of Desktop Players' reach, but it's all coming in very close.
The press-release is a bit convoluted, like so many wrestling storylines (especially these days with NXT), so here it is in full for you to make sense of:
Marking the first time in WWE 2K series history, 2K today announced that WWE 2K18 is currently in development for Windows PC and will be available on the same launch day as versions for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and Xbox One. On October 17, both the Standard and Deluxe editions of WWE 2K18 will go live on Steam.
The four-day Early Access Deluxe Edition perk for the PS4™ system and Xbox One will not be an option on Windows PC, but those who pre-order either edition will receive two playable characters of WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle on day one. All other Deluxe Edition bonuses remain the same as per the PS4 and XB1 versions. Downloadable content will be available à la carte for those who purchase the Standard Edition.
There's even more (little) information
available here about what's in store for the PC Master Race, but in a nut shell if you pre-order, you'll be able to play as Kurt Angle's "American Hero" character. So, bonus?
