Wargaming's popular giant ship battler is coming to consoles sometime in 2019 under the World of Warships: Legends banner. Like World of Tanks it brings naval combat to life with real ships recreated in stunning detail. Until now only playable on PC, Wargaming is planning an Alpha Test for World of Warships: Legends next month.

Developed by Wargaming St. Petersburg, the team in charge of World of Warships PC, World of Warships: Legends provides a fresh take on the XX century naval warfare by taking advantage of the power and capabilities of the most popular modern consoles. In addition to thrilling, immersive battles with the most iconic warships from maritime history, the naval MMO will also contain content and features exclusive to console users.


Coming to console we can also expect enhancements for both PS4 Pro and Xbox One X to take full advantage of the additional power. And the Legends tag probably means it will also launch alongside some new content too.
