Where earning a place in the top five for a multiplayer battle will net players points towards the event. Where the points can then be traded in for increasingly higher tiers of rewards, meaning that those that save up points throughout May will get the better prizes. Including the Motherland, a legendary Soviet Medium Tank.
Plus, additional tanks including the hard-hitting close-range T-29, the heavyweight KV-220-2, the smaller but equally deadly T-50-2, and the explosive ISU-122S. Which will be available in addition to other bonuses and rewards.
The event also includes new heroes in the lead-up to the May 9 release of a Dark Horse Comic called World of Tanks: Citadel, from renowned writer Garth Ennis (Preacher, The Punisher).
