With Season Two of the World of Tanks ANZ Premier League kicking off Friday March 12 -- or rolling out, tank style. The Premier League sees eight city and state-based teams battle it out for their share of the $20,000 prize pool -- with games being broadcast on Twitch.

“Season two of the ANZ Premier League is set to be bigger and better with new partners, new talent and a prize pool twice as big as season one,” said World of Tanks ANZ Product Manager, Jake Truman. “We’re proud to be continuing the growth of the local esports scene and are keen to see what teams and players have to show us.”

As for the teams, they are Adelaide Action X, Brisbane Bulldogs, Melbourne Matildas, Perth Panthers, North Sydney Sentinels, South Sydney Skorpions, Auckland Archers, and Christchurch Conquerors. With each sporting their own colours and sports-style identity.

World of Tanks is partnered with Fortress Melbourne for production, in addition to HyperX and ASUS Republic of Gamers for that sweet esports gear. Bonus, gear is set to be given away during the broadcasts.

The tournament is set to begin Friday 12 March and run until Saturday 21 May. Be sure to head to twitch.tv/worldoftanksanz for all the action.
