Not content with its ambitious community-driven racing sim Project Cars, the racing game veterans at Need for Speed Shift developer Slightly Mad Studios have revealed World of Speed, an arcade racing free-to-play MMO.
Build up a garage of unique and competitive cars then take them to the streets to dominate others in fast-paced team-based racing. Take on a specific role in the team and work co-operatively to complete Objectives, earn Driver Score, and level up for big rewards.

Then take your teamwork to the next level by creating a Club of your friends and battle to take ownership of each location in the world domination game mode of Territory Wars.
World of Speed is due out later this year on PC. Watch the clip below and head over to the official website for more details and some screenshots.

They said it won't be pay to win, how much that will remain true is still to be seen. If they manage to pull this one right I may drop a few $$ from time to time. So far I'm liking it.
