It seems that a sequel to Wolfenstein: The New Order is being cooked up at Bethesda. At least, that's the case according to Polish voice actor Alicja Bachleda-Curus.
Game Pressure translated the scoop, wherein Bachleda-Curus, who voiced character Anya Oliwa in The New Order, admitted to working on a sequel to a game.
Considering Bachleda-Curus has Wolfenstein: The New Order listed as her only game voice work on
IMDb, it stands to reason that she's referencing a sequel to the Wolfenstein rebirth in her quote below.
I'm working on a computer game; I already did the first part, now we're working on the second one, and it will take roughly two years.
The "two years" timeframe seems to refer to a release date, rather than the voice and motion-capture work Bachleda-Curus would be doing for the game.
I had the pleasure of
reviewing The New Order for AusGamers and am excited for the possibility of a sequel, even if I was underwhemled by The Old Blood expansion.
