Nintendo has launched a new system update for their Wii U console, which has introduced changes including faster loading times, background download and the ability to install software on a new standby mode.
The new update marks the push to version 3.0 for the console, adding several system changes as well including the ability to "transfer and/or copy between two USB storage devices." Other changes include Miiverse support for the Wii Remote, Wii U Pro Controller, and Classic Controller. For the full list of changes you can check out the official website

Nintendo has also announced that their Miiverse has now expanded onto web browsers, with the ability to access the community-based service through both PC and smartphones. Only those who currently own a Wii U will be able to gain access to the domain, however Nintendo has previously mentioned that 3DS owners will soon be gaining access to the service, however no date has yet been given.
