It's so good to see the Weird Western genre enjoying some love of late, and with its love-letter to jidaigeki cinema, Trek to Yomi, currently already out in the wild, Swiss Army Knife developer, Flying Wild Hog, is readying its own spin on all things spurs, saloons, dusty plains and undead with Evil West.

Interestingly, the trailer also kind of specifically says "vampire hunter", revealing a bit more of its main plot. Though it certainly doesn't look like blood suckers are its only form of monsters to fight.
Evil West, the dark fantasy, Weird Wild West, third-person action game from Focus Entertainment and Flying Wild Hog, just got its long-awaited release date on the books. Coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and PC, the game will release on September 20!

Get fired up by the explosive third-person action gameplay featuring an overpowering arsenal of weapons and guns. Take part in stylish, visceral combat as you unleash hell with your firearms, lightning-fueled gauntlet and gadgets.
It looks more cerebral than its plot suggests, though there's no denying it also looks bombastic and terrifically OTT and so for us, September 20 can't come soon enough.
