Developer Volition's follow-up to the Saints Row franchise doesn't stray too far from the source, as Agents of Mayhem is set in that universe, presented as as over-the-top Saturday morning cartoon. Which is certainly the vibe you get from the latest Franchise Force trailer, which showcases the abilities and characteristics of three playable characters -- Hollywood, Hardtack and Fortune.

We've said this before, but we're kind of disappointed that this doesn't feature Saints Row-style co-op. That being said, being designed for instantaneous character-swapping that disappointment could pretty quickly turn into a lot of fun.



Agents of MAYHEM is a single-player, open-world, third-person action game for PS4, Xbox One, and PC releasing on August 18.
