With an extended look at the first game to arrive as part of the collection, Halo Reach. Microsoft and 343 Industries plan on releasing each title in the Halo series chronologically which means the next game to arrive will be the original Halo: Combat Evolved. As a port of the Xbox 360 original (which is also coming to Xbox One) we get to see the optimisations being made for Halo Reach PC in an extended video.
Which includes the developers talking about uncapped framte-rates, adjustable FOV sliders, and proper mouse and keyboard integration. Check it out.
As per the work being done to optimise the game for Xbox One X this also means a drastic overhaul to the Xbox 360 original in order to hit a 4K resolution with HDR. Adding features like FOV sliders and the above has led to some challenges for the team, but in keeping with the goal to ensure that Halo The Master Chief Collection looks and plays like a PC game - the end result will be worth the wait.
It's expected that Halo Reach will make its PC debut this year.
