One of the most impressive and ambitious mods currently in development is without a doubt Skywind - which aims to recreate the entirety of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind in Skyrim' engine. After the impressive cinematic we got last week of similar project Skyblivion (which recreates Oblivion) - this new look at Morrowing presents an unedited and impressive look at gameplay.

Which one could easily mistake for a remaster - it looks that good. In the gameplay clip we get to see the player accept a writ (aka assassination bounty) and then embark on the journey.



This biggest takeaway here is just how seamless the town, map, and environments all look - retaining the feel of Morrowind with modern touches that come from using the Skyrim engine. As per the development team stuff like fast-travel and quest markers will be optional - so fear not if the compass and icons on-screen are giving you cause for concern.
