While we've had our November 29th Australian release date for the PlayStation 4 for a few weeks now, gamers in Sony's local Japanese market are still actually waiting to find out theirs. Sony Computer Entertainment Japan will be streaming their Tokyo Press Conference live today, and as the time difference is only a couple of hours off AEST, it kicks off at a rather reasonable 4pm for those of us in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane (7.00am BST/8.00am CET).
The Livestream will be available by the official EU PlayStation Blog, and is expected to feature English subtitles.
While we stress that the presentation is tailored specifically for Japanese gamers and that not all the reveals will necessarily be relevant for Europe, we are very happy to host a livestream of the event for your enjoyment.
I would embed it here, but we don't want it autoplaying on the front news page, so click through to PlayStation blog, or directly on Ustream for the goods
Update: If you missed it, GamesHQMedia have uploaded the whole thing to Youtube, embedded below. Highlights are a February 2014 Japanese launch date for the PS4, the announcement of a new model PSVita, and the PlayStation Vita TV.
