While we sit patiently waiting for May 27th to approach, Ubisoft's upcoming open-world title Watch Dogs has been given the retro treatment, courtesy of animator Balázs Kalocsai.

In his latest video on YouTube, the rather talented animator has taken Watch Dogs' very early E3 2012 "Demarco" mission and placed it inside the Commodore 64, showing us just what it may have looked and played like. Complete with retro tunes and graphics, the reimagining still manages to look fun despite its lack of 3D graphics.

Check it out below. Watch DOgs will be launching May 27th on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360. A Wii U version is also slated for launch later this year.
