The newly-released Wii U version of Ubisoft's open-Chicago hacking game Watch Dogs (yes, it has actually launched) has spawned two DLC content packs, though neither are the meaty Bad Blood mini campaign.

The first DLC pack includes the Conspiracy digital trip originally released for all of the other versions of Watch Dogs nearly six months ago. Each digital trip is a mini-game within the Watch Dogs world with Conspiracy seeing Aiden Pierce stalk killer robots that are invisible to everyone but him. The eShop also now hosts the Access Granted DLC pack, which compiles the costumes, weapons and perks first released as pre-order content for the game's other incarnations along with three exclusive contract missions.

Unfortunately, as far as Watch Dogs DLC goes, these two are relatively minor and Ubisoft has publicly stated that the crown jewel of the game's additions, Bad Blood, will not be coming to the Wii U. No reason for the omission was given at that time, but it's likely because the publisher has little faith in Nintendo's console.

Considering how dead silent the publisher was on the actual release of the game, which has been released alongside big hits Grand Theft Auto V, Far Cry 4 and Dragon Age: Inquisition, it is clear they just don't really care sadly. Hopefully we'll at least be able to see what the Wii U version looks like, as Ubisoft has also been dead silent on that part.
