Previously delayed from its initial release back in November of 2013, where it was preparing to release alongside the launch of the new generation consoles, Ubisoft has today announced (via
Game Informer) that Watch Dogs has been again delayed, though this time only for the Wii U version.
"We made the difficult decision to further delay the release of Watch Dogs on Wii U to focus the team's resources where they could have the broadest possible benefit for both our customers and Ubisoft," CEO Yves Guillemot said during Ubisoft's financial call.
Ubisoft's conference call also revealed that other platforms should be seeing a release sometime between April and June, during Ubisoft's Q1 2014 - 2015. Sadly no more was said on the title, but hopefully we'll start to see more gameplay showing off the extra time spent on developing the title.
