An action-RPG set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe? Yeah, a great idea. Especially when it can be played solo or with up to four players in co-op. Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr is exactly that, and although it has been in Early Access on PC for a little while, the full release is on track for early 2018. Which is, like, really soon.

And to celebrate the milestone we've got the awesome looking cinematic intro.

In Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr players take on the role of an Inquisitor in the Caligari sector. A region that is naturally infested by heretics, mutants, treacherous Xenos and the daemons of the Chaos Gods. Sounds intense.

As an action-RPG you can also expect the classic isometric perspective, and plenty of environmental destruction. For a look at some Alpha gameplay (recorded in a livestream about six months ago) head here. Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr, is coming to PS4 and Xbox One in addition to the PC version.
