Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is the spiritual successor to the excellent Left 4 Dead inspired Vermintide games from Fatshark and is coming to PC on November 30. And as part of the Gamescom 2022 opening celebration we got a very cool new trailer.
One that showcases the four-player co-op, gives a brief look at the detailed character creator, and then plenty of little combat snippets. This is shaping up nicely, and looks damn impressive. The PC version is set to ship with ray-traced reflections and RTX Global Illumination (RTXGI) alongside NVIDIA DLSS support.
Check it out.
Today independent developer Fatshark premiered the Opening Night Live trailer from their upcoming 4 Player co-op game Warhammer 40,000: Darktide.
The Opening Night Live video paints a grim picture of what the player can - or cannot - expect when entering the hive city of Tertium: no help. No reinforcements. You are Tertium’s last line of defense. You are a Reject, but what it all comes down to is that you and your crew are the ones everybody's counting on. No pressure, just brutal reality in the true Warhammer 40,000 sense of the word.
Create your unique character, choose your class, head into battle against enemies straight out of your nightmares, level up, build the loadout you deserve, and prepare for the next battle.
Those attending Gamescom will have the chance to go hands-on too, so we should expect to see a lot more Warhammer 40,000: Darktide in the lead up to launch.
