As for the reason why there's no PlayStation 4 in the mix, well the PS4 version of Wargroove is expected at a later date - and Sony has only just recently allowed cross-play on the platform. For those that need a reminder Wargroove is a fantastic looking take on Nintendo's own Advance Wars series, from the talented indie developer and publisher Chuckelfish.

With the game out this Friday, it's great to see that cross-play across three very different platforms available from day one.

This is great news too because Wargroove is set to launch with a suite of multiplayer modes ranging from co-op (which can be also played in a same-screen turn-based fashion) to competitive battles across mini-campaigns and an arcade mode. As Advance Wars fans here at AusGamers you bet we've been playing this, so stay tuned for our review.
