Christopher Nolan's next film is due for release very soon, and sees the Batman and Interstellar director setting his sights on World War II and the Battle of Dunkirk. And when it comes to World War II battles, the trilogy of Wargaming's World of Tanks, Warships, and Warplanes is impossible to ignore. Which makes this announcement a pretty cool one.

“The historic ‘Miracle of Dunkirk’, like many of the events of World War II, continues to impact and inform our battle-focused games,” stated Erik Whiteford, Head of Marketing, Wargaming America, “We are inspired by this momentous military operation and are excited to be in a partnership with Warner Brothers for Christopher Nolan’s highly-anticipated action thriller DUNKIRK.”

The "Remember Dunkirk" in-game activity is scheduled to begin this Friday via a full series of themed missions and vehicles. Beginning with World of Tanks and the combat-filled skies of World of Warplanes, the action will continue on July 19 as the battle continues with World of Warships.
