Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, which includes both Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, is coming to PC on October 19, 2022 via Steam and the Epic Games Store for $74.95 AUD. Sony made the announcement today, and the previously PlayStation only titles will arrive with a bunch of PC-specific features.
Like support for ultra-wide displays (very cool), uncapped frame-rates, multiple resolution options including 4K, and the ability to tweak settings like Texture and Model Quality, Anisotropic Filtering, Shadows, Reflections, and Ambient Occlusion.
Here's the launch trailer with footage captured from the games running on PC.
"PC gamers will be able to experience Nathan Drake and Chloe Frazer’s globe-trotting adventures in this collection that includes the remastered and PC-optimized, full-length, single-player games, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy," writes Rochelle Snyder, Senior Manager Communications at Naughty Dog. "It’s been a thrilling adventure with our partners at Iron Galaxy as we explored Uncharted territory for our studio’s first PC title. Iron Galaxy’s immense talent and meticulous attention to detail make both games in this collection truly shine on PC."
"This version of Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection is optimized for PC with PC-centric quality-of-life enhancements such as reimagined UI, scale sliders, GPU and VRAM detection, Variable Load Speed, and so much more," Rochelle Snyder adds.
The collection will also feature support for AMD Fidelity FX Super Resolution 2, or FSR 2 which is AMD's temporal upscaling tech that helps improve performance on a range of AMD Radeon and NVIDIA GeForce hardware. Interestingly, and unlike other PC PlayStation releases, NVIDIA DLSS support doesn't look like it'll be available here.
Also we've got the PC hardware requirements, and it looks like Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection on PC will scale well across a wide range of configurations.
