Naughty Dog, masterminds behind The Last of Us and the Uncharted series, has revealed in a recent interview with EDGE magazine that Uncharted 4: A Thief's End will not target 60 FPS if the developer feels it becomes detrimental for the player's experience.
The revelation is definitely not one to be scoffed at, and comes as part of a conversation discussing the stage demo at last year's PlayStation Experience event. At the time game director Bruce Straley said that the demo was locked to 30 FPS, despite the game capable of running above that in internal builds.
“We’re actually above 30, but we locked it [for the demo] … we’re going to do whatever it takes to make the game we want to make,” he said.

Its hard enough to combat input lag, just picking your own hardware correctly and getting your settings correct as well but when the developers are actively making matters worse the only thing you can do is walk away.
