Closing out its E3 2014 press conference, Sony has announced the long expected PlayStation 4 debut of its flagship Uncharted series with Uncharted 4: A Thief's End from Naughty Dog.
An in-engine cinematic trailer (which makes sure to remind us that it is all footage captured directly from a PlayStation 4) shows familiar adventurer Nathan Drake with the highest level of detail yet, exchanging words with his friend and mentor Sully for 'one last time'.
Several years after his last adventure, retired fortune hunter, Nathan Drake, is forced back into the world of thieves. With the stakes much more personal, Drake embarks on a globe-trotting journey in pursuit of a historical conspiracy behind a fabled pirate treasure. His greatest adventure will test his physical limits, his resolve, and ultimately what he's willing to sacrifice to save the ones he loves.
Sony expects Uncharted 4: A Thief's End will hit the PlayStation 4 in 2015. Watch the trailer below.
I enjoyed exploring Nathans past in the the 3rd Uncharted, It changed the way I saw the first 2 games and developed the character way more. Here's hoping number 4 goes further down the path of darkness.
