Confession time! One of the very first digital games I purchased for the Xbox 360 was Uno, and I played it online against other people pretty much every day for months. This was back when the Xbox 360 had its infamous 'blades' interface. An avatar-powered version of the game came out a couple of years later, but by then I was probably playing something else. Let's say Team Fortress 2. For some much needed street cred. Which kind of makes today's news that Uno for PS4, Xbox One and PC coming on August 9 somewhat exciting.

Well, as exciting as a digital version of Uno can get. After all Uno has been around for ages. Here's an Australian commercial for the classic card game from 1981.

Coming from Ubisoft and Mattel, development is being handled by Ubisoft Chengdu - Ubisoft's second development studio in China.
