Over the weekend, Ubisoft released a new promotional video for the upcoming and hotly anticipated open world action game Watch_Dogs, but a little different to its usual trailers.

With an extensive crew of technicians and stunt people, the publisher stages and elaborate hidden camera prank in Los Angeles, where an unsuspecting citizen supposedly looking for a phone repair is duped into believing a smartphone app can wirelessly hack other electronic devices -- as players can do in the upcoming game.

Check it out, followed by the behind the scenes video below. Watch Dogs is due on May 27th for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360, with Wii U expected to follow later in the year.
