Available until June 19, a new Rainbow Six Siege Starter Edition is available for PC that offers up all maps and Operators for $15 USD. Why so cheap? Well, how you unlock Operators is what separates this version for the full priced one. The Starter Edition nets you access to two Operators (chosen at random from a pool of six) with enough currency to unlock a few more. The renown requirement to unlock additional Operators however gets a substantial boost, with an estimated 15 hours of playtime expected for each new Operator to be made available.

But apart from that everything else stays the same, including the option to get the Season Pass and all associated DLC content. The Rainbow Six Siege Starter Edition is now available on PC through Steam and Uplay. As it's a cheaper way to get access to what many consider one of 2015's best competitive shooters, here's hoping this deal extends beyond this two week period.

I actually bought this. I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. I have done 4-5 single player missions so far. I have yet to try out multi.
