We already did our own deep-dive developer interview feature on Far Cry 6, covering all manner of topics such as the size of the new game-world, its ecology and overall dynamism, among much more, we didn't get super-deep on how its politically-driven setting works. Thankfully, Ubisoft has cleared the air and given an honest take on what players can expect, with the game's creative director, Navid Khavari, who has experienced real-life revolution declaring: "I have debated revolution over the dinner table my entire life. I can only speak for myself, but it is a complex subject that should never be boiled down to one quote".

You can read the full statement here, but here's a snippet:
In our approach we made sure to seek creators and collaborators for our team who can speak personally to the history and cultures of the regions we were inspired by. We also brought on experts and consultants to examine the game story multiple times over the course of the project to make sure it was being told with sensitivity. It is not for me to decide if we succeeded, but I can say we absolutely tried.
Again, our in-depth interview feature has stacks more information, and stay tuned for a video deep-dive soon, but it's great to see a creator and their team being as forthcoming as this.
