Which, apparently were all due to launch prior to the end of March 2020 - the current fiscal year for Ubisoft. The Zelda-like Gods & Monsters will no longer be out February 25, 2020, with Watch Dogs: Legion also missing its planned March 6, 2020 release date.

Of the three delays Rainbow Six Quarantine didn't have a date but all three are now slated for fiscal year 2020-21 which runs from April 2020 to March 2021. Odds are we'll see all three before the release of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Scarlett consoles.

The delays come from the same report that highlights the failure of Ghost Recon Breakpoint, where Ubisoft admits it's AAA game has been off in 2019 - citing both Breakpoint and "to a lesser extent" The Division 2 as reasons for the shake-up.

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot stated the following regarding the delays.
"We have decided to postpone the releases of Gods & Monsters, Rainbow Six Quarantine and Watch_Dogs Legion until 2020-21. While each of these games already has a strong identity and high potential, we want our teams to have more development time to ensure that their respective innovations are perfectly implemented so as to deliver optimal experiences for players. This decision will have a very significant impact on our financial results for this fiscal year and goes against our recent successes in building a more stable development model. However, it is in line with our strategy to maximize the future value of our brands for the long-term benefit of our employees, players and shareholders. We expect it to have a positive impact on our financial performance as from 2020-21."

So yeah, it's seemingly delay season. From The Last of Us Part II to DOOM Eternal and now Watch Dogs: Legion. That said, we're glad Ubisoft is putting the launch day quality of its upcoming games ahead of sales targets.
