R U OK, an Aussie initiative, but one with global reach, aims to confront mental health issues and the fallout that too often stems from that in Australia, and around the world. As some of you know, this is a situation we're all too familiar with here at AusGamers. Ubisoft Australia, while joining annual Aussie events such as PAX Australia, the same local team has decided to host the "Ubisoft Experience" in Sydney this year -- a celebration of their games, but one where all the event's proceeds go to the R U OK foundation -- an incredible, and excellent initiative on their part.

Here's the official word:
The ‘Ubisoft Experience’, an immersive community event at the Roundhouse, University of New South Wales, taking place on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th of September, 2019. Tickets are available for $19.95* via Ticketek, with all proceeds going to R U OK?

As part of an international tour also visiting Paris and Birmingham, the Ubisoft Experience is a gaming celebration giving the community an opportunity to experience and play upcoming and classic games, watch elite esports, attend informative panels, participate in competitions, meet development teams from around the world and more!

Discover highly anticipated games such as Beyond Good and Evil® 2; Watch Dogs® Legion, Ghost Recon® Breakpoint and Roller Champions as well as classic and retro titles.
We've reached out to lend a hand in any way we can, but, if the key takeaway is if you can make it and spare $20 dollerydoos, you absolutely should because this is a fantastic initiative. Thank you to the local Ubi team for running with this.

Please note: *A one-off Ticketek Service & Handling fee of $5.40 per transaction applies on all purchases
