Ah to be alive but a few days ago. The world was a different place. The news that Mafia III's PC frame-rate being locked to 30fps was met with a swift backlash from those that are used to playing games with frame-rate numbers that outdo what God managed to pull off when he created the Earth. Or if you're a scientist, Mr. Big Bang. Anyway, fast-forward through the various ages (or, days) and you get to today's 1.01 patch for Mafia III on PC. Which includes 30, 60, and unlimited frames-per-second options on PC.

Crisis averted. And now we can get back to talking about the game itself. Which our own Stephen Farrelly told me, "I'm not sold on it yet, it feels incomplete, but I do like the presentation and it's definitely a mature gamer's game."

Which probably raises even more questions. See you again in a few days.
