Bringing back those old-school LAN feels, the Macca’s Winter Stream sees streamer Midbeast land at The Chiefs Esports house in QLD for a massive live stream all about playing together.
The winter months might be in full swing, but that doesn’t mean we can’t all get together to play. And that’s exactly what’s happening on August 21, when League of Legends streamer Midbeast takes a trip to The Chiefs Esports house for a LAN party, some scrim action with the winning esports team, and a massive live stream event. Following on from Macca’s’ Summer streaming action, the home of The Chiefs Esports will become centre stage for the ultimate LAN party and a place to tune in to spend some time with the who’s who of the local LoL scene.
As a former professional player, Midbeast is no stranger to LoL, and it's that passion and enthusiasm that has made him Australia’s most well-known League of Legends streamer and voice. For the Macca’s Winter Stream, Midbeast and the crew will hang out, play games and make the most out of the high-tech QLD-based facility The Chiefs call home. Alongside the team, he will be joined by caster, presenter and creator Kiittwy -- a crowd-favourite commentator and personality. As one of the highest-ranked LoL players in the region, her expertise and insights have made her one of the most entertaining presenters and creators in Australia and the greater APAC region.
The Chiefs' own Ayekay will also be on hand, and RUGBY LEAGUE star and gamer Alex Glenn, too. The former captain and star player of the Brisbane Broncos is just as at home with a keyboard and mouse in hand as he is with a ball on the field. Fans who tune during the livestream will also have the chance to win a very cool limited edition co-branded Chiefs and Macca's hoodie.
Like the Macca's mantra, it’s all about playing together and lovin’ it. The timing is perfect too, as The Chiefs are currently on an impressive 19-0 undefeated streak in the 2022 League of Legends LCO season. This will be an opportunity for The Chiefs to let their hair down and have fun as they shift their attention to the League of Legends World Championship in October, right after taking the crown at the inaugural Dreamhack Australia in September.
The massive Macca’s Winter Stream will stream live on August 21, and you can tune in to all of the action on Midbeast’s Twitch channel right here.
