You can't have a keyboard without a mouse -- and vice versa. Even though we've reviewed both the ASUS TUF Gaming M5 mouse and ASUS TUF Gaming K5 keyboard separately, as they both feature the same ASUS TUF branding and look we've put them together in this one handy news post.

As budget oriented entries (the Gaming K5 uses 'Mech-Brane' switches, both peripherals were impressive but each has their own strengths and weaknesses.

Although the PixArt sensor used in the ASUS TUF Gaming M5 was a mystery prior to his review, after testing out the performance across titles like DOOM, Overwatch, and more sim affairs like Civilization VI – we didn’t notice any real perceivable difference over the higher DPI mice and more premium sensors. Foregoing the use of mechanical switches, the ASUS TUF Gaming K5, doesn’t skimp when it comes to its physical features and layout. With an adjustable height, built in wrist-rest (that’s unfortunately the same material as the rest of the keyboard), dedicated media buttons, RGB and Aura-sync support, on-board memory for macro recording, and even a spill resistant finish – there’s a lot to cover. Add in anti-ghosting with 24-key rollover and it’s clear that performance whilst gaming was the main consideration that went into the design.
