Total War: Three Kingdoms 'Reign of Blood' DLC Brings The Red Stuff

Like clockwork the post-launch window of a major Total War release gets a blood and gore bit of DLC, with Total War: Three Kingdoms - Reign of Blood arriving next week. As per the description it introduces "new gory and mature-rated effects, animations and kill-moves" to the game that will be able to be toggled via the settings.

And it definitely lives up to the title.



Although the Steam page currently doesn't list local pricing - it will be paid-for content with a $2.99 USD price point. For more on Total War: Three Kingdoms be sure to check out our full review, where we said, "Three Kingdoms presents a truly beautiful depiction of mainland China." Except now that' probably "beautiful and bloody".

Should have been in the base game and not some cut content. They have done this a few times now. Disappointing.
