When Eidos was picked up by Japanese publisher Square-Enix, the license holder of hit franchises such as Tomb Raider, Thief and Deus Ex inherited access to the Visual Works animation studio, the Japanese crew responsible for the increasingly impressive CGI seen in over the years in Square's Final Fantasy games.
Today Square-Enix have released a new developer diary style trailer featuring members of Tomb Raider developer Crystal Dynamics and some of the crew from Visual Works talking about the creation of the very awesome "Turning Point" trailer that unveiled the new look Lara Croft during E3 2011 (
watch that here now if you haven't already).

Tomb Raider is due on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in Spring 2012 (US Fall).
