Which is a big deal because Titan Quest and it's first expansion Titan Quest: Immortal Throne came out back in 2006 and 2007. So then why the delay? Well it comes down to THQ Nordic snapping up the game a few years ago and instead of simply repackaging it, the publisher has decided to re-start development. Which brings us to the release of Titan Quest: Atlantis.
Following in the footsteps of the Nordic expansion seen recently, Atlantis returns the action back to the Mediterranean and the lost city of Atlantis. Its available now on Steam, with a launch-day discount, priced at $19.35 AUD.
The Hero meets an explorer that is searching for the mythical kingdom of Atlantis, and together they set out on a journey across the western Mediterranean. The key lies in the legendary Diary of Herakles, rumored to be in the Phoenician City of Gadir, but their journey will take them beyond the edges of the known world...
The new expansion not only brings new quests, locations, and items, to the game, but also a new wave based challenge mode, quality of life improvements and even some graphical updates in the form of SSAO and color grading. Translation, it looks shinier and more vibrant.
