A new graphic adventure game from Ron Gilbert and Gary Winnick, the creators of Maniac Mansion, is certainly something to look forward to. And with a release date of 'early 2017', we hopefully don't have long to wait until Thimbleweed Park hits our screens. The latest trailer, featuring narration from one of the playable characters in the game -- the crude clown Ransome -- definitely captures the look and feel of classic LucasArts titles.

And we couldn't be happier.

Like with the classic Maniac Mansion, Thimbleweed Park features a number of playable characters. Albeit this time without the ability to die or miss out on nabbing an item leaving you no choice but to restart the game.
