Demakes are love-letters to low-poly, low-fi experiences that take contemporary games and basically remakes them (or parts of them), as if they existed on machines far less powerful than the ones we have now. Naturally with Dead Space Remake and even to a lesser extent The Callisto Protocol running point on all things sci-fi survival horror, someone was going have a crack at a new modern demake in the same subgenre, and thanfully someone did.

The game is really small in terms of download and is more a proof of concept, but also features a lot of audio and VO that feels ripped right out of the OG. It's also pretty atmospheric, and probably should be played with a controller, but it's a really solid demake effort of a game well worthy of the treatment.
