Xbox App on PC is getting a major update in the form of giving players full control over the installation of their games. That means access to the folders, the ability to install mods directly into file directories, and the ability to manage installs across a number of drives and folders with ease.
Features that are set to go into Beta prior to the release of Halo Infinite on PC, with early access to file goodness coming to Insider peeps soon. Microsoft made the announcement in a new
November 2021 PC Community Update video outlining that there's plenty more optimisation coming with speed and performance of the Xbox App being a key focus moving forward.
With the Xbox App also set to get Cloud Gaming support, as a PC hub for Xbox Game Pass this is all fantastic news.
